The Sharon Sailor Handbook
There is a lot of useful educational material on this website including information on rigging, rules, racing techniques, boat handling, and the finer points of team racing. Once you get the password from a coach or team member, view this material that was painstakingly prepared for all SHS sailors by clicking the Handbook tab above or here.

2020 Spring Season
The 2020 spring season did not happen for the Sharon sailing team due to the school shutdown in response to the coronavirus. The day before the shutdown, the team had set up the boats, installed the coach dock, and managed a brief one hour sail. Despite the non-season, a video for the school year was created and appears on our Photos page. A Zoom-like photo of the team also was added at the bottom of the About page.
2020 Fall Season
There was a 2020 fall season despite the coronavirus. Five freshmen joined the team bringing it to 32 sailors. Competition with other teams was impossible, but extensive intra-team racing was conducted along with a great deal of practice.
New Sailing Coach
The JV coach had to leave the team due to illness in October, but we found an excellent new coach to replace him. Read more about Jacon Mayer on the About page.
