The Team

  • Fully co–ed
  • About thirty participants at all grade levels
  • Starting skill levels go from novice on up
  • Fall and spring seasons- Most members join in fall of their freshman year and many sail all four years
  • Member of the Mass Bay League (MBL) which includes both public and private schools, not the Hockomock League
  • Governed by NESSA, the New England Schools Sailing Association, not MIAA

The Coming 2026 Spring Season

Setup begins on March 9 at a location TBA. Refer to the schedule for times and dates of practices, meets, and events. JV practices are usually held Monday – Thursday, but may be cancelled when there is a conflict with another SHS team event.

2025 Fall Highlight

Earned a berth at the Great Oaks Regatta in New Orleans. Finished ninth out of twenty-eight teams from around the country.
