The Team

  • Fully co–ed
  • About thirty participants at all grade levels
  • Starting skill levels go from novice on up
  • Fall and spring seasons- Most members join in fall of their freshman year and many sail all four years
  • Member of the Mass Bay League (MBL) which includes both public and private schools, not the Hockomock League
  • Governed by NESSA, the New England Schools Sailing Association, not MIAA

The Coming 2026 Fall Season

Setup begins on Tuesday, August 18 at 1:00 at Memorial Beach. All returning sailors are expected to attend, unless attending the Harvard Clinic.  A Welcome Back Regatta will be held the next two days.  Report time 3:30.  Tryouts begin Monday August 24 at 2:00 – 5:30 and run two or three days.  Practices are on the first four school days of the week, usually Monday – Thursday, with Varsity events on the weekends.  Practices are 3:30 to 6:15 after school starts. 2026 Spring Highlights

  • 17 – 3 overall team race record
  • Won Mass Bay League Division A Team race season
  • Ranked 8th in New England and qualified for the “Presidents,” the NE Team Race Championship. (highest ranked public school in Massachusetts)
  • Won races with two of the perennial top 4 teams
  • Qualified for the National Invitational Tournament and finished 6 of 12
  • Won the MBL Championship Regatta
